Glendalough Double Barrel is a single grain Irish whiskey matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Montilla, Spain. This dual maturation imparts rich notes of dark fruit, cherry, raisin, and fig, complemented by floral hints of lemongrass and citrus. On the palate, it offers a sweet and smooth experience with flavors of butterscotch, honey, peppercorn, dried fruit, and maraschino cherries. The finish is characterized by ginger spices, a touch of almond, and earthiness.
