The third release in Teeling’s acclaimed Rising Reserve series continues to showcase the distillery’s masterful approach to cask finishing with a bold and flavour-rich Irish single malt. This edition was initially matured in traditional bourbon barrels, before undergoing a second maturation in premium ruby Port casks, which imbue the whiskey with deep, jammy fruit character and a luxurious texture. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it retains its full, natural complexity. On the nose and palate, waves of ripe cherry, plum, and milk chocolate are layered over soft vanilla and butterscotch, with subtle undertones of warming oak spice. The influence of the Port casks brings richness and elegance, balancing the fruity vibrancy with silky smoothness. This limited-edition expression captures Teeling’s innovative spirit and refined craftsmanship, adding another standout chapter to the Rising Reserve legacy. Only 6000 bottles produced.
