The Shortcross Inaugural Release Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a landmark expression from Rademon Estate Distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. Crafted from 100% Irish malted barley, the whiskey was double distilled on the distillery’s original 450L copper pot still, which was the smallest in use on the island at the time . It matured for five years in Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux red wine casks before being finished in virgin Chinquapin oak—a unique cask combination used for the first time in Irish whiskey production . Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and contains no added colouring, preserving its natural character.
