This special release commemorates the ancient festivities of Cónocht an Earraigh, the Spring Equinox, symbolizing the equilibrium between day and night and the resurgence of the earth’s vitality. As the landscape bursts with life on the Dingle peninsula, this season marks the emergence of flourishing pastures and the growth of young livestock, foreshadowing the promise of a bountiful summer. At Dingle Distillery, Cónocht an Earraigh heralds the opportune moment to sample our maturing casks under the discerning eye of our Master Distiller, seeking the perfect fusion of flavors that define the distinctiveness of Dingle.

Aged in former Bourbon casks with a Cabernet Sauvignon finish, Cónocht an Earraigh Single Malt unveils enticing aromas of ripe plums, blackberries dusted with icing sugar, toasted almonds, and muscovado sugar. Its palate offers a medley of rich red fruits, subtle spices, gingerbread, fruit tart, and treacle toffee, leading to a lingering mouthfeel where sweet fruits intertwine with dry tannins. This expression embodies the essence of single malt craftsmanship with an ABV of 50.5%.
