Distilled solely from malted barley and double distilled for clarity, it was matured for over five years in a single 250L Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, which gives it a rich, dark hue and deep flavour layers. At 57.3% ABV, it bursts out of the glass with aromas of apricot, orange marmalade, fresh banana with treacle, and even touches of cigar leaf and balsamic vinegar.
