Cockburn’s Tawny Port is filtered before being bottled and and is quite a bit smoother and mellower than the ruby port. Cockburn’s Fine Tawny Port is produced from grapes grown in the lower Douro Valley. These have a lighter skin and are perfectly suited for producing tawny wine.
